CGTA was established by a group of professionals actively involved in the field of children’s group therapy. The association functions as a support system for group therapists, and as an advocate for quality group services for children, adolescents and parents. CGTA is committed to providing training opportunities, and expanding resources and networking in the field. Membership in CGTA is open to all professionals invested in child and adolescent group therapy.

Please contact CGTA at (617) 796-0150 with any questions regarding status of CEU applications for Social Workers and Professional Development Points (PDPs) for this 5 hour conference. The Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy, Inc.(NSGP) designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5 CEU’s. NSGP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NSGP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This program provides a maximum of 5 credits. NSGP is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP TM) and a co-sponsor of this event/ program. NSGP may award NBCC approved clock hours for events or programs that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP maintains responsibility for the content of this event. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 5 credit hours. Conference events can be counted toward Certified Group Psychotherapists (CGP) re-certification requirements of the National Register of Certified Group Psychotherapists on a 1 hour per 1 CEU basis. NSGP and CGTA maintain responsibility for the program and its contents.
