THE CHILDREN’S GROUP THERAPY ASSOCIATION

CGTA was established by a group of professionals actively involved in the field of children’s group therapy. The association functions as a support system for group therapists, and as an advocate for quality group services for children, adolescents and parents. CGTA is committed to providing training opportunities, and expanding resources and networking in the field. Membership in CGTA is open to all professionals invested in child and adolescent group therapy.

DIRECTIONS:

    HOLIDAY INN BROOKLINE- 1200 Beacon St., Brookline 617- 277-1200
    The hotel is near the St. Paul’s St. stop on the “C” line of the “T”

Mass Pike I-90: East to Exit 18- Allston/Cambridge- the exit will be on the left. Turn right at the first light onto Storrow Drive, follow Storrow Drive to the Boston University Exit, turn right onto University Drive. Turn right onto Commonwealth Ave. Follow to the third set of lights, take a left onto St. Paul St., follow to Beacon St., hotel is on left.

From 95 North: North to Exit 20A- Brookline/Boston (Route 9 East). Follow approximately 4 miles and turn left onto Chestnut Hill Ave. Continue approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Beacon St., travel 2 miles to hotel on left.

Logan International Airport : Route 93 North through Sumner Tunnel, stay in right lane through tunnel to Storrow Dr. Take Kenmore Square Exit (the exit is on the left when you arrive at fork in road). At the first light, take a right onto Beacon St. At second set of lights, take center lane, travel 1 mile, the hotel is on the right.

Cancellation Policy:
Refund requests must be made in writing and postmarked by April 17, 2008 and are subject to a $25.00 Administrative Fee. There will be no registration refunds after April 14, 2008.

Please contact CGTA at (617) 796-0150 with any questions regarding status of CEU applications for Social Workers and Professional Development Points (PDPs) for this 6 hour conference. The Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy, Inc.(NSGP)designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA category 1 credit(s)TM. Physicians (and all other participants) should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Massachusetts Medical Society for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the NSGP and the Children's Group Therapy Association. NSGP, Inc. is accredited by the Massachusetts Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians. - NSGP, Inc. is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Massachusetts Association of Registered Nurses, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This program carries a maximum of 6 contact hours. - NSGP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NSGP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This program provides a maximum of 6 credits. NSGP is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP TM) and a co-sponsor of this event/program. NSGP may award NBCC approved clock hours for events or programs that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP maintains responsibility for the content of this event. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 6 credit hours. Conference events can be counted toward Certified Group Psychotherapists (CGP) re-certification requirements of the National Register of Certified Group Psychotherapists on a 1 hour per 1 CEU basis. NSGP and CGTA maintain responsibility for the program and its contents.
